Amouage Imitation for Men was launched in 2018. The nose behind the leathery composition is Leslie Girard. In the top notes, she used spicy notes of nutmeg and pepper in combination with lemon. The heart is primarily characterized by orris, or root extract. Floral accords of Turkish rose and violets also bloom. Leather takes the lead role in the base, and castoreum, patchouli, vetiver, and myrrh (resin) play supporting roles.
