Clinique Aromatics Elixir was launched in 1971, making it the oldest perfume from the Clinique house. The fragrance is classified as a chypre floral fragrance for women, which opens with notes of aldehydes, coriander, chamomile, clary sage, lemon verbena, bergamot, Brazilian rosewood, and geranium. The heart is composed of carnation, tuberose, orange blossom, orris root, jasmine, ylang-ylang, and rose. The composition ends with notes of sandalwood, patchouli, musk, oak moss, vetiver and incense. Bernard Chant is the perfumer behind this perfume.
