Horizon by Davidoff was launched in 2016. The woody spicy fragrance for men symbolizes the connection between earth and sky and was inspired by the forces of nature. It represents freedom, adventure, and discovery. Notes of grapefruit, rosemary, mandarin, and ginger open the fragrance and transition to the heart, which consists of patchouli, cedar, nutmeg, pepper, and sesame seed. The whole rests on a base of vetiver and cacao pod. The noses behind this fragrance are Olivier Pescheux and Jacques Huclier. The television campaign was reportedly filmed by director Arnaud Uyttenhove during real sandstorms and extreme heat; it follows the journey of the Horizon Man as he climbs a mountain. Italian model Simone Bredariol portrays the role of the Horizon Man in the campaign.
