Amarige was launched by the perfume house of Givenchy in 1991. It is a sharp, oriental, and floral fragrance. The perfume was developed for a graceful, playful, and charming woman. The top notes consist of fresh fruit: peach, plum, orange, mandarin, with sweetness from rosewood and neroli. The heart notes are intense and luscious with mimosa, neroli, tuberose, gardenia, and blackcurrant. The warm woody base consists of musk, sandalwood, vanilla, amber, tonka bean, and cedarwood.
