Guerlain Encens Mythique D'Orient was released in 2012. The nose behind this special composition is master perfumer Thierry Wasser. In the top notes, he mixed saffron with aldehyde and rose. The heart of patchouli and vetiver has a woody character, but a touch of pink pepper has also been added. The base is a mysterious mix of wood accords, ambergris and incense.
