This new creation by Tom Ford, Velvet Orchid, was launched in 2014 and features a unique character. The fragrance opens with notes of bergamot, mandarin, Succan absolute, and honey. The heart notes consist of jasmine, rose oil, black orchid, orchid, orange blossom, magnolia, hyacinth, narcissus, and heliotrope. The base notes of this fragrance consist of Peru balsam, labdanum, sandalwood, myrrh, suede, and vanilla. The fragrance is available in a classic purple bottle. The noses behind this wonderful oriental floral fragrance are Yann Vasnier, Calice Becker, Shyamala Maisondieu and Antoine Maisondieu.
