Kouros by Yves Saint Laurent is an aromatic fougere fragrance for men and was launched in 1981. Pierre Bourdon is the perfumer behind this successful Eau de Toilette. In the top notes, he blended fresh bergamot with aldehydes, coriander, clary sage, and Artemisia dracunculus. In the heart, a bouquet of carnation, geranium, and jasmine blossoms, combined with a blend of patchouli, vetiver, cinnamon, and orris root. The unique base is formed by civet, leather, musk, oakmoss, and tonka bean mixed with the sweet notes of vanilla and honey.
